Here at Brattleboro Subaru, we love to give back to our community, especially when it comes to helping out our furry and four-legged friends. We are excited to build relationships with programs around the Brattleboro area and help provide funding so they can take care of animals waiting for their forever homes. That's why we are partnering with Windham County Humane Society for our October Initiative! Check out the details down below!
Throughout October, we are working in conjunction with the wonderful team at the Windham County Humane Society to support their program and help pets get adopted! That's why we will donate $100 to the Windham County Humane Society for the first twenty pets adopted in October. That means for every forever home found for these friendly pets, we will happily provide funding necessary to keep others comfy, warm, and fed while they wait to meet their owners. Not only will Brattleboro Subaru donate, but Subaru of New England will also show their support by donating $100 to the next eleven pets adopted!
About Our Partnership with Windham County Humane Society
In 1887, a group of animal lovers in Windham County formed The Brattleboro Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The goal of this organization was to protect and harbor animals who need food, care, and shelter and would eventually become the Windham County Humane Society. The goals of the organization are to provide animals with:
- Freedom from Hunger and Thirst
- Freedom from Discomfort
- Freedom from Pain, Injury, and Disease
- Freedom to Express Normal Behavior
- Freedom from Fear and Distress
They strive to give animals a place they can rest and relax while they wait for their human to come and find them! Each furry friend deserves a home, and the Windham County Humane Society wants to help them find it!

More Ways To LOVE Pets!
Getting involved is easy. We know your phone is full of photos of your furry friends…ours, too. All you have to do is post! Throughout the month of October, post a public photo or video of your pet on Facebook, Instagram, X, or TikTok using the hashtag #SNELovesPet. For each unique post, we'll pledge $5 to our 12 shelter partners, up to $75,000!* Our goal is to hit a total 15,000 (or more!) pet posts using #SNELovesPet, which will ensure each shelter receives $6,250!
For Subaru of New England, this campaign is about more than just raising funds - it's about spreading the word for the animals we love. With your help, we can raise awareness and make sure shelter pets get the care, love, and forever homes they deserve.
